The Best of The Best!

Here at Superior Spiral Stairs we go to many lengths to create one-of-a-kind, custom metal stairsrailingsgates and other decor just for your home or business. From the design process to the install there is a lot that goes unnoticed in-between. We have some of the best master welders around who know exactly what they’re working with when it comes to metals.

We make most of our beautiful metal work out of aluminum. Why? What’s the difference in aluminum than any other metal you can use outdoors? Two of the most common metals used in metal spinning and stamping actually are aluminum and steel. We use aluminum mainly outside because aluminum is corrosion resistant without any further treatment after it’s spun. This means no decomposing or rusting will occur. Steel on the other hand will need to be kept indoors or in a very dry environment. Steel needs to be treated after it is spun and that still will not fully protect it from corrosion or rust down the road. Although steel does have the possibility of corrosion steel is actually a harder metal. It’s also much easier to work with as it’s possibility of warping is low when being worked with. This is a huge factor in the cost bracket and why making the investment for a better metal will provide the longevity in your stair, railing or gate’s lifespan. At Superior Spiral Stairs we work mainly with aluminum so that you can have complete confidence in the product you are receiving and knowing it can last a lifetime.
